Last month, several Harper Woods staff members hosted and facilitated the first 'Girls Day in Project' for all 6th grade girls. The 'Girl's Day in Project' is a safe space to have open conversations about friendships, conflict resolution, self esteem, lifestyle, future endeavors and much more! They were able to provide mini hygiene bags and friendship bracelets to give to all the girls as a take away from their sessions. This month's topics highlighted hygiene, conflict resolution, and team building. Great job everyone!
Wishing our students and staff a wonderful Spring Break! We are so proud of how hard everyone has been working all school year and we hope you are able to take some time to relax and enjoy time with friends and family. We can't wait to see you all again on April 3rd!

Happy SEL Day! SEL stands for Social Emotional Learning, at DCP Harper Woods, we build in time every day for our students to practice SEL. Shout out to the Kindergarten team for starting reading month off with a blast. They celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday with green eggs and ham as well as Horton Hears a Who! cupcakes
